Prayer Opportunities

Different ways to pray with and for our Parish Community.

Intercessory Prayer Team

In the fall of 2020, we began a new ministry called the Intercessory Prayer Team which has and will continue to allow us to intentionally pray as a community for the St. Matthew’s community (Early Childhood Center, School & Church) so that we can follow the call of the Holy Spirit.

Each person on the team is asked to regularly pray for our community especially the direction and growth of St. Matthew’s.  This is different from the prayer chain.  If you are interested in joining us or have questions, please contact Zach Gignac or Kate Tyler or Click here to sign up.

Prayer Chain

  • Pray for those in need of healing or special prayers
  • Receive prayer requests by email or phone call

Contact Margaret Flynn at 363-0538 or margaretLflynn@mchsi.com  to join the prayer chain or to add a prayer request

Eucharistic Adoration

Join us for Eucharistic Adoration in the Church on Tuesdays following 5:30pm Mass until 9pm and on Thursdays following 8am Mass until 12pm.

  • Come and pray in front of the Blessed Sacrament for 10 minutes to an hour
  • This is a great way to slow down from the busyness of life and make time for your relationship with God
  • Learn more about Eucharistic Adoration by clicking here

Other Prayer Experiences

Throughout the year, we provide prayer experiences such as praying for an end to racism, lifting up our country in prayer, Taize Prayer, Pentecost Novena and more. We hope you will join us to pray. Here are a few video from our past prayer services:
