With the safety of our parishioners and families in mind, we have made the decision to make this year’s event a Virtual Day of Giving. Although the event will look different, we will still be offering the Mardi Gras event that we all know and love! We are excited to bring you auction items, raffle tickets, classroom art, experiences, parties, and maybe a little entertainment along the way.
What does this Virtual Day of Giving look like? Beginning at 8am on February 13, we will be offering parish and school experiences, parties, and classroom art for you to win. Bidding announcements and links to Google forms will be provided on the St. Matthew Catholic Parish and School Facebook Page – www.facebook.com/StMatthewCedarRapids/.
A full schedule of items available will be released on Facebook closer to the date. The links within the Facebook post will take you to a Google form to indicate your interest on a first-come basis. If you need bidding assistance, please let the Committee know. All bidding will close at 9pm on February 13.
Join us for a livestream that evening beginning at 7pm. The livestream will be available via our St. Matthew Parish & School Facebook page and through our school website. The event will start with a message from Father Loecke and Principal Conlon. Following will be the opportunity to donate to any of the Parish and/or School ‘Needs’. We will close the evening with a condensed version of our live auction! This event helps support programming at St. Matthew Catholic Parish—including St. Matthew Church, St. Matthew Early Childhood Center, St. Matthew Preschool and St. Matthew Elementary School.
